About

About The Connect Conference:

Our ultimate goal for the connect conference is to first:

Connect with God – much of our time Saturday will be spent looking into and meditating on God’s word along with prayer and worship and will continue throughout the weekend.

Second

Connect with people and ministries – we seek to create an environment in which those who have a zeal for reaching the world with the good news of Jesus Christ will be able to connect with others of like mind and similar interest, whether it be on campus, in the workplace, in the local church or on the foreign field. We will discuss topics such as music, sports, media, children, creative arts and more. Our goal being to talk about what’s being done already and seek to create new and innovative ways to spread the fame of Jesus. Also, to make connections with others that will carry beyond this weekend, building support systems, informing others of existing methods/ministries and possibly forming new methods/ministries in which we can implement and/or get involved with.

Sessions:

During the conference we will be having breakout sessions/think tanks in which all in attendance will be encouraged to share. Our goal: to discover what’s being done that’s working and through God’s leading discussed new innovative ways to reach people with the good news of Jesus Christ with in a particular sphere of influence.

About Our Speakers

Nathan Bramsen

Nathan Bramsen Nate Bramsen was born and raised in Senegal, West Africa. At the age of 16, he saw the opportunity to invest his life into the abused, neglected, and abandoned children of this world for both the sake of time and eternity. After graduating from North Greenville University (South Carolina) with a degree in Business and Broadcasting, he headed to the Middle East to begin pioneer work among this demographic of children.

In December of 2006, he founded ROCK International. (www.rockintl.org) ROCK is a non-profit organization seeking to be the “lap of Jesus” (as demonstrated in Mark 9:36-37) for children trapped in situations of crisis. Now, he oversees various international development projects, youth discipleship ministries, and carries out a limited itinerant speaking schedule. His heart is to see this generation become unconditional followers of Jesus Christ. Today, he calls North Africa “home”. On the side, he enjoys coaching swimming, bungee jumping, and exploring the world. Ultimately, he has but one passion, one goal, one prize. Christ
